Sontara^® MicroPure is specially designed for the challenging task of cleaning a cleanroom – ideal for electronic manufacturing, pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications. These micro-level cleaning fabrics are lint-free and naturally absorbent, without binders or other additives.

The Sontara^® proprietary manufacturing technology holds fibers together without the use of binders, chemicals or adhesives. The fibers used in Sontara^® fabrics are inherently absorbent. To make them into the fabric they are entangled with high-pressure, needle-like jets of water. This hydroentangling process continually “washes” the fabric during formation to create an absorbent, lint-free fabric that is strong and uniform. Sontara^® offers a broad range of microlevel cleaning fabrics, meeting all required levels of cleanliness and wiping needs.
